This Privacy Policy explains how Use By: Food Tracker ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App, related support pages, and support communications.

Use By: Food Tracker does not collect the app data, settings, notification preferences, or item entries from your device. That information is stored locally on your device.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, device details, or app version.

2. How We Use Information

  • to operate the App locally on your device
  • to schedule optional local notifications you enable
  • to respond to support, privacy, and bug-report requests
  • to comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Use By: Food Tracker does not use third-party advertising, an account backend, or analytics SDKs in version 1. Support communications may be processed by the email services used to receive and reply to your message.

4. App Store Payments

Use By: Food Tracker is sold as a paid-upfront App Store app. Payment processing, receipts, and refund requests are handled by Apple. The App does not include subscriptions or in-app purchases in version 1.

5. Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it or delete the App. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to requests, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service.

6. Your Choices

  • you can manage device permissions in your operating system settings
  • you can manage purchases or refunds through the relevant app store
  • you can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
